The Northwestern Ontario Sports Hall of Fame was established in 1978 with a mandate to preserve and honour the proud sports heritage of Northwestern Ontario. As a non-profit, membership-based organization, the Sports Hall of Fame relies greatly upon the support of individuals, organizations and businesses.
