On January 31st, 2026 we welcomed back our Heritage Classic curling event, marking the 8th time that curlers took to the ice in support of sports heritage.  This year we changed things up a bit with a 2-Person Stickspiel edition of our Heritage Classic. We were pleased to partner with the FWCC on this event which was proudly sponsored by Superior Shores Gaming Association.

This one-day event included 31 teams enjoying some curling, food, fun and prizes and helped raise over $800 for the Sports Hall of Fame. As an added bonus, winners in each division gained entry into the Heritage Classic Hall of Fame with their picture on display at the NWOSHOF for one year. Special thanks to Justin Lewtas, Heather Houston and the Fort William Curling Club and all of our participants for making this event possible.
