Volunteer Opportunities
The Sports Hall of Fame is very fortunate to have some fantastic volunteers who assist with a variety of activities at our facility and in the community.
Listed below are some of the volunteer opportunities currently available at the Sports Hall of Fame:
Board of Directors
The Sports Hall of Fame is overseen by a volunteer Board of Directors and positions are elected each year at our Annual General Meeting.
Educational Programming
Volunteers help conduct tours and educational programs for the various groups that visit the Sports Hall of Fame throughout the year.
Exhibit Gallery
Volunteers assist with welcoming the public to our facility as front desk attendants.
Fundraising
- Bingos - matinee Bingos are held throughout the year and volunteers are needed to assist with such things as selling bingo cards on the floor or at the door. The
events are held at the CLE Auditorium between 12:00 noon and 4:00 pm. - Fame 600 Club Draw - volunteers assist with the selling of these lottery tickets.
Special Events
Throughout the year we are involved in a number of events including the Annual Sports Hall of Fame Golf Tournament (July), Annual Induction Dinner and Riverfest (September).
